STUDENT LIAISONS
Our Student Liaisons will bring real-life issues to the board of directors. It's our hope to bridge the gap between our youth and our CUSD Governing Board. Our Student Liaisons will attend the initial part of all meetings to give a report and bring student concerns to light. There may be an open discussion before our students liaisons are excused.
Our student liaisons are not eligible for scholarships. President Kendra Devejian is working with our student Ambassadors and liaisons to help select recipients. Under Kendra's guidance, Remember Children will help our students become strong leaders.
Hello CUSD Students!
CLOVIS EAST: Brinley Myers
My name is Brinley Myers, and I am the Clovis East Student Ambassador for Remember Children. Thank yous and shout-outs to our amazing supporters!

I am currently a sophomore and I have a lifelong dream of becoming a surgeon. I’ve always been interested in anything medically related! Over time I've had to come to terms with the fact that dreams don’t come true without hard work. Therefore I’ve started to take a stronger academic route in school, which meant getting involved in AP/honors classes.
I'm also starting my 4th year in the Clovis East dance program. Dancing helps me move my body and clear my mind. I highly recommend dance to all of my peers at Clovis East, Ms. Vee and all dancers are so welcoming. Like every other teenager I enjoy watching TV shows/movies, but I also enjoy reading and writing.
I got involved with Remember Children to help give students a voice. I would love for our school board to consider stronger pathways for those who are more academically inclined, as our impacted schedules are incredibly challenging. Additionally, this position allows me to gain leadership skills and help award scholarships to our fellow students.

I am currently a senior and am planning to attend college to become an educator. My goal is to be a PE coach and be able to coach cheerleading in Clovis Unified. I'm a extremely involved at CHS, as I am a 4 year leadership student and have been class of 2025 Secretary for the last 2 years. I am also involved in the Pep and Cheer program at CHS, as I have been on the cheer team the last 4 years. In addition, I have been part of the Ag program at CE for the last 3 years, having completed 6 different Agricultural classes.

I am so thankful for this opportunity to get involved with Remember Children, as my family has a long history of being in CUSD. I'm so glad to be able to hep be a voice and bring the concerns of my peers to the governing board to help bridge the gap between the youth of CUSD and our governing board.
